After every Peter had left the cave, it was very easy for them to adapt to their new life. Most of them had some skills that were useful in their new reality. Mostly in construction. Back in the cave, building any sort of house required very fine skills of engineering and crafting. Plus, every Peter built their houses themselves, with help only from friends and family.
